As part of the “Parent-to-Parent 2025” initiative, aimed at elevating parent–school collaboration to a new level, Hedef STEAM Lyceum held another remarkable event — the “Mothers at the Lyceum” program.
The main goal of the event was to strengthen parent–teacher and parent–parent relationships, increase family involvement in the social environment of the school, and encourage experience sharing.
This initiative created an environment of solidarity through workshops and social activities, allowing mothers to actively participate in a day of school life.
Executive Directors Vali Valizade and Zulfiya Sadigova opened the event, greeted the guests, presented the program, and read emotional letters written by students to their mothers as part of the “Anonymous Letter to My Family” project.
A theatrical sketch titled “What We Assume to Be True” addressed common misconceptions and behavioral patterns formed within families.
Ilaha Ibrahimli spoke on “The Positive and Negative Impacts of 21st Century Technological Advancements on Children,” offering practical advice.
Meykhanim Guliyeva (infectious disease specialist and dietitian) gave a talk on “Balanced Nutrition,” emphasizing the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle.
Aygun Huseynli (lecturer at ADA University, spiritual therapist) brought emotional depth to the event with her talk titled “Psychosomatics: The Psychological Roots of Illness.”
Mothers participated in creative and collaborative social activities, showcasing their talents and building connections.
The “Parent-to-Parent 2025” initiative once again proved that sharing knowledge and experiences among parents significantly enriches the school environment and directly contributes to the social and academic development of children.
