An open lesson was held in Mətanət Hüseynova's 4A3 class at the Qurtuluş campus of Hədəf STEAM Lyceum!

The teacher, who began with a role-playing activity to inspire motivation, joined the young learners in assisting "The Unknown"!
The children, introduced to various group tasks, were excited to discover a hidden chest filled with treasures. The group that managed their time wisely, upheld teamwork, completed tasks correctly, and rang the bell first would claim the treasure. However, both talented and quick-thinking groups rang the bell simultaneously.

Topic: The activity integrated interdisciplinary drama-theater and visual arts with life sciences and chemistry.
The young learners produced carbon dioxide through a reaction between baking soda and vinegar. The resulting carbon dioxide caused a balloon to inflate.

Objective of the Experiment: The role of "The Unknown" was assigned to carbon dioxide. Initially, the materials were weighed, and after the experiment, the remaining material was recorded. Carbon dioxide was the released element. The children determined the amount of carbon dioxide produced by solving an equation.

At the end, the learners were rewarded with keychains featuring equation operations hidden in the treasure chest.
