"Mothers at the Lyceum" – An Emotional and Enriching Educational Day at Hadaf STEAM Lyceum!
On April 19, the “Mothers at the Lyceum” event was held at the Qurtuluş branch of Hadaf STEAM Lyceum. Aimed at strengthening parent-school ties and enhancing parent-teacher and parent-to-parent relationships, this year’s event once again became an unforgettable day for the participating mothers.
The project not only allowed mothers to take part in the academic and social life of the lyceum but also created an environment for active communication with school staff and other parents. On this day, mothers participated in both the teaching and educational processes, and engaged in various seminars and panels to exchange knowledge and experience.
Panel Topics and Speakers:
Məmməd Məmmədli (Executive Director, Qurtuluş Branch): “The Role of Parents in a Modern Educational Environment”
Zülfiyyə Sadıqova (Executive Director, Azadlıq Branch): “Social-Emotional Development and the Family’s Influence”
İlkanə İmran: “The Role of Parenting Style in a Child’s Development”
These talks highlighted the importance of mothers’ contributions to the psychosocial development and upbringing of their children, and stood out with sincere and interactive discussions.

These panels provided mothers with opportunities to express themselves creatively, physically, and psychologically. Each session was enriched with interactive activities emphasizing social bonds and sharing.
"Anonymous Letter to My Family" Campaign
Little students wrote anonymous letters to their families, which moved the mothers deeply. Three letters were randomly selected and read aloud, reflecting the children’s heartfelt views of their families. The top 10 most touching letters, selected by the school director, were presented in a slideshow, giving parents deeper insights into their children's inner worlds.
Reception and Socializing
At the end of the event, a reception was held for the parents, fostering open conversations, new connections, and friendships.
The “Mothers at the Lyceum” project once again proved that a strong educational environment is built not only with teachers and students but also through the active involvement of families. This initiative serves as a meaningful bridge between school and home, laying a solid foundation for the children's future.
