Hədəf Lyceum has launched a new project aimed at applying modern technologies in education. A VR (Virtual Reality) classroom is being established at the Lyceum, which will enable students to study their lessons in a virtual reality environment.
New opportunities in education
The main purpose of the new VR classroom is to make the educational process more visual, interactive and experience-oriented. With the help of virtual reality technologies, students will have the opportunity to observe and explore the topics they learn in various subjects not only through textbooks and other traditional tools, but also in a three-dimensional virtual environment.
VR experience across various subjects
The use of VR technology is planned in the teaching of history, geography, biology, physics, astronomy and other subjects. Thus, in history lessons, students will be able to virtually visit ancient cities and monuments; in geography, explore different regions of the world; in biology, study the structure of the human body using three-dimensional models; and in astronomy lessons, become more closely acquainted with the Solar System and outer space.
Technology becomes a pedagogical tool
Shamil Sadig, founder of Hədəf Lyceum and associate professor, stated that the aim of the project is not simply to bring technology into the school environment, but to turn it into a real pedagogical tool that enhances the effectiveness of education.
“Today’s children are growing up in a completely different technological environment. The school cannot remain outside this change. We want students not only to read and listen to what they learn, but also to see, explore and experience it as much as possible. VR technology gives us the opportunity to go beyond the physical boundaries of the classroom. We want to build the school of the future today rather than wait for it”.
Within the framework of the project, work is planned on adapting VR equipment to the curriculum, selecting virtual lesson content for various subjects, and helping teachers use this technology effectively.
As Hədəf Lyceum, we believe that the implementation of the VR classroom will contribute to increasing students’ interest in lessons, expanding their visual perception capabilities, and developing their research skills. “Hədəf Lyceum – the lyceum for those with great goals!”
