Colorful Novruz Joy with Little Scholars
We learned how to dye eggs, one of the most beloved and interesting traditions of the Novruz holiday, together with our little scholars. The teacher explained the meaning of the colorful eggs to the children by demonstrating it.
Natural dyes are usually used for egg coloring. For example:
Red color is obtained using onion peels. The teacher also demonstrated this process and dyed the eggs in front of the children.
After the eggs were boiled and colored, the little scholars remained true to the tradition of egg tapping and joyfully played the game. Then, the children made wind-moving flowers from colorful paper, while the girls performed the delicate "Violet Dance."
In the end, the little scholars joined hands and performed the traditional Yalli dance. The event concluded with spring symbols and festive moments, reflecting the beauty of the season.
