On January 19, the founder and director of Hedef Group of Companies, Shamil Sadiq, the co-founder of Hedef Courses, Vugar Tarquliyev, members of the management board, and employees of the organization visited the Alley of Martyrs. As part of the visit, a wreath was laid in front of the “Eternal Flame” monument, and the graves of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and sovereignty of our Motherland were respectfully visited. The cherished memory of our heroes was honored with deep respect, and prayers were recited for their souls.
January 20 is both a tragic and heroic chronicle in the history of Azerbaijan. Our people always hold the memory of all sons who became martyrs for the Motherland in the highest regard and keep them alive in their hearts. Under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Army put an end to the 30-year longing of our people by liberating our lands from Armenian occupation, and our state sovereignty was fully restored. Today, Azerbaijan’s tricolor flag proudly waves over all our territories. Currently, large-scale restoration and reconstruction works are being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur, and the Great Return Program is being successfully implemented. The complete restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty is clear proof that the blood of all our martyrs, including the victims of the January 20 tragedy, was not shed in vain. Today, the souls of all martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our country are at peace.
It should be noted that events dedicated to the January 20 tragedy were held at Hedef lyceums and courses, and the first lessons were devoted to “January 20 – National Day of Mourning.”
