Hədəf Lyceum Takes First Steps Toward Becoming an IB International School

Hədəf Lyceum is entering a new and significant phase in the international education arena. The school has officially begun preliminary preparations to implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

In this direction, a broad exchange of ideas has taken place with the participation of both foreign experts and the school’s experienced local specialists. During the discussions, important alignments and shared approaches between the Hədəf Concept and the core values of the IB educational philosophy were emphasized.

The main teaching and administrative base for the new program has been designated as Hədəf STARS CAMPUS. At the same time, it is planned to gradually implement IB-aligned educational approaches in other branches of Hədəf Lyceum.

It is worth noting that Hədəf Lyceum is currently accredited for both the Cambridge International and STEAM programs, placing it among the leading international schools in the country. With integration into the IB system, Hədəf Lyceum will offer its students broader perspectives and global educational opportunities.

The presentation and idea exchange meeting was actively attended by the school’s founding director Shamil Sadiq, executive director Nizami Huseynov, STARS CAMPUS executive director Shamsaddin Bashar, and IB expert Ebru Hezen. Ebru Hezen has worked as a classroom teacher and coordinator in schools implementing the IB Program (PYP) and is known for her experience in the IB system.

This new initiative by Hədəf Lyceum marks the beginning of another prestigious stage in international education.
