(Pedagogical Staff Performance Evaluation)
The performance evaluation (attestation) of pedagogical staff (full-time, part-time, and hourly employees) at Hədəf Lyceum is conducted in accordance with the Labor Code and the Law on Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, based on the attestation regulations, procedures, and principles applied to pedagogical employees of general education institutions.
The purpose of the Pedagogical Staff Performance Evaluation is to assess the professional activities of teachers in order to confirm their suitability for their current positions.
The main objectives of conducting the Pedagogical Staff Performance Evaluation include:
Stimulating continuous professional development and proper guidance for pedagogical staff;
Emphasizing the necessity of increasing qualification levels among pedagogical employees;
Improving the quality and effectiveness of pedagogical activities;
Identifying the potential capabilities and strengths of pedagogical staff.
The principles of conducting the PKPD process are transparency, objectivity towards pedagogical staff, fair and equal evaluation for all, and avoiding any form of discrimination during the attestation process.
The professional performance of pedagogical employees is evaluated annually by the Attestation Commission.
Based on an official order by the Lyceum Director, the Attestation Commission is composed of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, and Commission Members.
The Secretary of the Attestation Commission is responsible for informing the teaching staff about the list of teachers to be evaluated and the evaluation schedule no later than 30 calendar days before the process. The confirmation of teachers' awareness of the schedule must be recorded and documented.
The evaluation of pedagogical staff is carried out using a 100-point scale based on the following criteria:
Student Evaluation – 30 points
Self-Evaluation – 10 points
Evaluation by Management – 10 points
Professional Development Portfolio – 50 points
