"Fathers at the Lyceum" Project Held at Hedef STEAM Lyceum!
The "Fathers at the Lyceum" project, organized according to the Hedef Concept, was held at the Nasimi branch of Hedef STEAM Lyceum. Shamil Sadig, CEO of the Hedef Companies Group, and Vali Valizadeh, the branch's executive director, participated in the event and greeted the parents. During the event, some of the most touching anonymous letters written by students to their fathers were read aloud, creating memorable moments for the fathers.
The project aims to strengthen parent-lyceum relationships, improve communication between parents and teachers, and encourage effective interaction among parents themselves. Fathers participated in various activities during a full day, becoming part of the lyceum's social environment.
Parents attended seminars presented by experienced professionals from among themselves, exchanging expert knowledge and enhancing their social engagement. The seminars and their presenters included:
• Sabuhi Shahmursoy: "Writing and Education: The Future of the Publishing Industry" • Mirkan Aydin: "Corporate Culture" • Mahir Hamidov: "Azerbaijan-Syria Relations in the Context of Global Geopolitical Processes" • Elmir Iskandarli: "Dear Dad, Listen to Me" • Shahmar Hajiyehyayev: "Security in the Digital World"
After the seminars, parents visited the STEAM Laboratory and the Interactive Science Museum, gaining firsthand experience with the school's technological and scientific achievements. Reading the anonymous letters written by their children provided parents valuable insights, helping them see themselves from their children's perspective.
During the tea and coffee break, parents had the opportunity to converse and further engage in the lyceum's social life. Activities organized for parents included volleyball, archery, table tennis, chess, backgammon, dominoes, shooting gallery, and more. These social activities fostered entertainment and closer relationships among parents.
The annual "Fathers at the Lyceum" project continues to attract significant interest. By facilitating parents' active participation in school life, the initiative contributes significantly to improving educational quality. It also helps parents better understand their roles within their children's educational environment, solidifying the relationship between parents and the lyceum.
