Preschool education

BalaBilgə Kindergarten is a part of Hədəf STEAM Lyceum. The “Cambridge Preschool” program operates within BalaBilgə Kindergarten, where education is based on STEAM methodology and the principle of “learning through touch.” The essence of an educational system that prepares children for the 21st century can be summarized as: think, see, touch, do. During STEAM lessons, children interact with each other, use their imagination, learn to collaborate in teams, and discover different ways to solve problems. At the end of each STEAM cycle, a technological product is created.

We have implemented the harmony between STEAM education and nature. Since our facility includes a spacious building, outdoor area, and garden space, we aim to raise future generations in direct contact with nature. Science is the study of nature, and without nature, scientific progress would not be possible. Within the framework of STEAM+N education, our little learners gain knowledge by seeing and touching—through their own planting areas and a mini zoo where they interact with animals.

The kindergarten offers instruction across 5 age groups and in 3 streams: Azerbaijani, Russian, and English. Activities are designed to suit children's developmental stages, with a focus on logic, intellectual games, and interdisciplinary connections. These activities help children develop listening and comprehension skills, express their thoughts clearly and coherently, and build a rich vocabulary.

Our goal is for children to love coming to kindergarten—to wake up joyfully in the morning and not want to leave in the evening. We strive to provide a loving, playful, and engaging environment where they can learn, gain knowledge, and prepare for the future. Our core principle is to raise honest, fair, patriotic individuals who love nature and people, are loyal to their nation and state, and embody both national and universal values, with a healthy mind and spirit.
