The SAT is a standardized high school graduation exam in the United States. All U.S. universities, along with over 700 higher education institutions in 85 countries, accept AP and SAT scores for university admission. SAT scores are interpreted differently by each institution, but higher scores significantly improve a student's chance of gaining admission to top universities.
Note: SAT Subject Tests (SAT 2) are no longer administered either inside or outside the U.S. by the College Board. These have been replaced by AP (Advanced Placement) exams.
AP is a college preparatory program. It enhances students’ academic skills in high school, providing them with the competencies necessary for success at the university level. AP courses and exams help students gain college credit and demonstrate college-level readiness.
At Hədəf Lyceum, students in grades IX, X, and XI receive instruction in A Level specialized subjects and SAT preparation. Strong foundational knowledge in these subjects is developed during primary and lower secondary grades.
The preparation programs are offered both on-site and online. The online A Level and SAT courses are available for students in other cities and countries. Online preparation begins in grades VII and VIII with foundation-level A Level and Pre-SAT courses, supported by diagnostic and progress assessments.
In grades IX–XI, students receive specialized instruction in their selected fields, take mock exams, and are fully prepared for official A Level and SAT exams through a comprehensive subject-based curriculum.
